Dr. Frerichs treats all musculoskeletal conditions of the foot and ankle. Typical conditions treated include bunions, hammertoes, heel pain/plantar fasciitis, and sports injuries such as ankle fractures, Achilles ruptures, and ankle arthroscopy.

Physician Biography

Jill Frerichs, DPM, FACFAS, is a native of Hinton, Iowa and graduated in 2001 from Des Moines University. She completed her training in podiatric medicine and surgery at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Frerichs joins Capital Orthopedics from DMU where she served as an assistant professor of podiatric surgery. She is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. Dr. Frerichs will join Dr. Michael Lee at COSM in the foot and ankle department
