Physician Biography
Everett C. Madson, M.D. is a specialist in diabetic eye disease; retina, vitreous and laser surgery; and cataracts and implants.
A native of Omaha, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, a Master of Science degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City and a medical degree from Case Western Reserve Medical School in Cleveland. Following an internship at Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital, Dr. Madson completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals.
Dr. Madson serves as co-director of the retinal fellowship program and is an associate clinical professor at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha. He is a consultant to area managed care organizations, a past president of the Nebraska Academy of Ophthalmology, and a past chief of surgery for a metropolitan hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
