Physician Biography

Robert R. Shreck, M.D., grew up in Des Moines and has deep family roots in Taylor County in southwest Iowa. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Iowa and completed postgraduate work, specializing in cancer, at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. In 1979 he returned to Iowa and began his practice, Medical Oncology and Hematology Associates, in Des Moines. He is board certified in both internal medicine and oncology.

Dr. Shreck has a deep love for the work he does, and enjoys spending weekends with his family at his Redding Lake cabin.
